The automotive brake pads that we introduced for the U.S. market more than 20 years ago have become long-selling products.
Until then, many pads from other manufacturers that had been used for repairs were not satisfactory to customers because they produced severe dust, stained the wheels, and squealed every time the brakes were applied.
We then developed the products and offered Nissin Kogyo with the materials and mold manufacturing costs.
This is the result of developing and bringing to market high-performance brake pads that are equivalent to OEM products for major automakers.
Under development of finely-tunable pads for circuit driving
We are currently developing brake pads for use on automobile race circuits.
In North America, amateurs routinely visit circuits and race for time.
We have received requests for brakes that can be used in such situations, and started to develop products while listening to their voices to incorporate the detailed requests.
Although there are a variety of pads with good performance, we intend to differentiate our products in terms of their ability to be tuned to the customer’s requirements.
